Head of State reopens Higuerote General Hospital in Miranda

This Wednesday, July 9th, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reinaugurated the Central Hospital of Higuerote in Miranda state. It is a health center completely rebuilt for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area.

On the opening tour, the Head of State was accompanied by the governor of the entity, Elio Serrano, the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, as well as the authorities of the said health center.

The governor of Miranda stressed that “The rehabilitation of the health center began last November and, hand in hand with the workers of the corporation Together Everything Is Possible, was achieved.”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health stressed that the health center goes from being type 2 to 3 and that it will have 30 services for the population, with new specialties including six intensive care units in the neonatal area. “We have new rooms for the comfort of our patients,” he said.

For his part, President Maduro said that “every new work must mean a new life and the new society that we are building (...) In record time, we rebuilt and equipped the General University Hospital of Higuerote because Together Everything Is Possible, which will benefit more than 9,000 inhabitants in Miranda.”
