Head of State supports Mexico's request to the king of Spain: That empire brought looting and genocide

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that in America, there is nothing to celebrate on October 12, as Spain does because on that date the invasion, genocide, looting and enslavement of this continent began.

“The King of Spain says that he has nothing to apologize to the original peoples of America for and that they celebrate their arrival to these lands, but the truth is that this empire brought looting, genocide of native peoples and abhorrent slavery,” reiterated the National President.

During a working day dedicated to showing the advances of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, “Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán”, he supported the position of Mexican President Manuel López Obrador to ask the Spanish monarch to recognize the genocide they committed during the conquest of American soil.
