The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during his program With Maduro+ on his 91st broadcast, celebrated the effectiveness of the civic-military plan “The Barracks Go to the People”, whose massive deployment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) aimed to strengthen the country's tactical response to any threat from external factors.
“The Barracks go to the People, demonstrating the deep fusion, this union between our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, heir to the Liberation Army and Antonio José de Sucre, the organized people and our National Police Force,” said the head of state.
He added that in every community, hamlet and neighborhood, this connection reaffirmed “that we are free and independent. Today, the Homeland of Simon Bolivar is more united than ever to guarantee Sovereignty and Peace.”
President Maduro reiterated that the perfect fusion of Popular, Military and Police Power has been consolidated, where millions of men and women are ready, ready, armed and in the form of combat, to defend the right to their land, to their land, to their wealth, to live in society and in peace.
“I am one of those Venezuelans, a follower of Bolivarian thought who, (...) fortunately, we have seen millions of humble and ordinary men and women, in Venezuela, defeat powerful empires in all the forms of war they have applied to us, and prepared with weapons in hand to defend this sacred land. Fortunately, we have seen it and continue to see it,” the Venezuelan Head of State said emphatically.
The Barracks Go to the Town plan was carried out in the country's five thousand 336 Community Circuits, to unify the population and security forces. This activity comes in response to the growing aggression of the United States against Venezuela, which recently deployed military vessels in Caribbean waters.
