President Nicolás Maduro recalled that the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), a few moments after receiving the candidates, with the exception of Edmundo González, who did not show up, summoned the board of directors of the National Electoral Council (CNE) for the next 72 hours to submit all the documents and collections of the electoral process of July 28.
“The Supreme Court is complying with its powers and the National Electoral Council has the floor. The result of the July 28 elections is given by the CNE, not the United States, nor the fascist Campaign Command,” said Maduro from Miraflores.
The Head of State explained that all the candidates who participated in the presidential elections were summoned by the Supreme Court and at 12 noon a lawyer called to say that Mr. González Urrutia could not go, because the politicians who ran for him were divided, some said they had to go and others that they didn't.
“After nine hours, González Urrutia released a video for X to state his reasons, all of that goes to the file and by the time the sentence comes out, you have serious legal consequences, in contempt of the Constitution, the courts and the laws,” he said.
Maduro said that the Great Patriotic Pole and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) are ready to record 100% of the legal documents collected by our witnesses, at all tables in the country, installed by the CNE on July 28.
