The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, this Saturday, during the ceremony of greeting the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the People stressed the importance of vindicating the ideals of the Liberators.

“We must vindicate history, feel the reincarnation of the ideals and the strength of those who liberated these lands, who built an unforgettable feat, armies of peasants, blacks, rebellious Indians, mixed-race, mulattos, oppressed whites, men and women of the people who united across the country, who rode up to 8,000 kilometers on foot to conquer freedom,” he said.

In this regard, the Head of State stressed that “it is very important to revive history with the spiritual strength of popular armies, peasants, black and brown people”.

He also assured that “we don't come from armies of prey, we come from those who gave freedom to the Peoples of the South forever. We have taken up the road extensively, we can say without a doubt: the FANB in its four components plus the militia are heirs of the People's Revolutionary Army of South America. We are the united liberating army.”
