The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the live broadcast of his program Con Maduro+ congratulated the deputies elected by the original peoples who were chosen this weekend, demonstrating indigenous inclusion to the world.

“The indigenous peoples of the South and the East of Venezuela have elected the Wayú indigenous companion Arly, Joselin González González, congratulations to this new deputy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela who will be representing the states of Mérida, Trujillo and Zulia, while the South zone elected the indigenous Pumé Yesenia González, and in the East the elected Pedro Requena was a leader of the indigenous youth, it turned out elected to guarantee the inclusion of indigenous peoples,” said the head of state.
