Héctor Rodríguez: All schools and high schools in the state of Barinas will be rehabilitated

All schools and high schools in the state of Barinas will be rehabilitated and equipped as announced this Wednesday by the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, during a visit to the National Commercial Technical School (ETCN) José Leonardo Chirino, in the capital of that entity.

According to a press release from the Education portfolio, he added that 20 institutions have already been rehabilitated in that state and that 16 more are selected to be renewed by the national government, through BRICOMILES.

“We have to recover all the institutions that are in the state of Barinas and recover education in general,” he said.

Rodríguez called on community organizing to effectively advance this initiative and stressed that recovering schools is also essential for more students to join the education system.

In this regard, he indicated that 100 schools are being operated on a monthly basis throughout the country for maintenance and improvements.
