The vice-president for Broad Alliances and New Historical Bloc of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Héctor Rodríguez, highlighted the importance of the formation of the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees (CBBI), which will work without lines of public officials.
During the Assembly with the Street Chiefs, in Caracas, from Alí Primera Park, in Sucre parish, at a meeting prior to the election of the CBBI, he stressed that “that leadership is from there, from the street, it's not imported, it's not owned by any official of the mayor's office or the government. It's about real leadership.”
He also recalled that popular power has stood up to the difficult circumstances that the country has been going through. However, in the face of this new situation, restructuring is necessary.
In that regard, Rodríguez explained that the CBBI “are going to take on street work for this new phase of the Revolution,” which means that they will be more involved in the defense of sovereignty, compliance with the 7T and the operation of the Community Circuits.
“All those teams that we are creating, in aggregation, constitute the commands, which is the community level. The Bolivar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) are going to leave them as they are, and the municipal, state and national directorates are being reorganized, especially in the functioning of their vice-presidencies,” he explained.
Faced with the call made by the president of the PSUV, Nicolás Maduro, the organized people did not hesitate to align themselves with the provision of the red awning, in terms of organizational restructuring.
“We will be from street to street, knocking door to door, explaining to our communities what work needs to be done (...) demonstrating that the PSUV has a perfect organization, the best in the world (...) for us it represents adding, adding and adding more people to this Revolution, uniting and obtaining more strength,” said the head of the Community in the Sucre parish, Minerva Mendoza.
The decision to form the CBBI was taken during the Plenary of the PSUV. The election of the committees will take place between November 08, 09, 15 and 16 and must be made up of at least nine people.
