Hurricane Rafael, after entering Cuba through the southwestern region of Playa Majana, made its way out during the night of Wednesday in the vicinity of Cabañas Bay, Artemisa, with category 2, heading to Mexico.
The system left Cuban territory, Telesur explained, after a two-hour tour, during which it directly impacted the west of the country, especially in the provinces of Artemisa and Mayabeque.
Cuban authorities expect winds and rains to decrease as the meteor leaves the country.
They have also reported that the situation continues to be dangerous because showers and gusts of wind are expected, with a maximum of 50km-h. Especially beware of heavy rain and storm surges. The winds will have the force of a tropical storm from Pinar del Rio and Matanzas.
In Havana, strong winds are still felt in municipalities in the west of the capital, such as La Lisa and Marianao. These winds will continue to beat for several more hours with intensity between 50 and 60 km/h.
