In a gazette! Import exemption regime extended for three months

The National Executive extended until March 31, 2025, the exemption regime for import taxes and Value Added Tax (VAT) to 3,148 product categories, according to their tariff codes distributed in five appendices.

The measure was published in Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 6,869, dated Friday, December 27.

This time, the number of categories benefiting from 748 new tariff codes has increased.

The objective of this measure is to maintain an adequate level of supply and to provide incentives for external purchases of goods essential to increase domestic production.
