In Nueva Esparta, the IV National Community Consultation was activated early

In the state of Nueva Esparta, citizens come to voting centers in an organized manner to participate in the IV Popular Community Consultation, which is aimed at strengthening citizen participation and decision-making from the communities themselves.

In Nueva Esparta, the consultation takes place, starting at 8:00am, with a solid organizational deployment that includes 64 communes, 425 proposed projects, 136 voting centers and 141 polling stations, distributed in the eleven municipalities of the state.

In graphic testimonies published on the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, we can see the participation in this process convened at the national level and led by President Nicolás Maduro.

“From the Maltilde Mata school, Comuna Héroes Laguna de los Mártires in the Marcano municipality, Neo-Spartans select projects for their community,” reported the PSUV website.
