The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, presented a series of guidelines for young Venezuelans to face the psychological war that the United States is waging against the country.
During the IV National Meeting of the Robert Serra Youth Parliamentarians Network, held at the Federal Legislative Palace, Infante advocated the defense of sovereignty and the maintenance of national stability.
In his speech, entitled “Strategies for confronting psychological warfare”, he emphasized the importance of maintaining consistent political activity and consolidating the parliamentary work of the Bolivarian Revolution in the face of international hostility.
Among the suggestions proposed was consulting institutional sources, such as the Presidency and the Vice-Presidency, acting on the basis of verified data and avoiding the dissemination of content that could alarm public opinion.
The representative also called for strengthening youth participation in the legislative sphere, highlighting the advances achieved since the presidential elections of July 28, 2024, which resulted in the validation of more than 80% of mayoral elections and 95% of governor positions, in addition to 18 consecutive quarters of economic expansion.
He emphasized that these results have intensified the avalanche of foreign media, especially on digital platforms, impacting the emotional well-being of younger generations.
He noted that the attacks against Venezuela are not recent, but date back to 2014, when unilateral sanctions were implemented and a decree was issued that classified the country as an “unusual and extraordinary threat.”
He concluded that, despite attempts at destabilization linked to natural resources and international alliances, popular determination remains, backed by the commitment of young people.
