International investment of more than 30 million euros will be made at the Goodyear Plant in Valencia

The Minister of People's Power for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, announced an international investment of more than 30 million euros in this initial phase that will reactivate and modernize the old Goodyear plant in Valencia, Carabobo state.
In a publication published by the Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Production, on its Instagram account, it points out that the reactivation of the plant was announced during an inspection visit led by Minister Saab, together with public servants from the ministerial portfolio of Labor.
At the site, an initial international investment of more than 30 million euros was confirmed.
He explained that the above-mentioned plant will produce rubbers with state-of-the-art technology, which will guarantee import substitution, productive sovereignty and a projection towards regional exports.
Saab mentioned the role of workers, whom he called “the real heroes” for their resistance to sanctions, in addition to stating that this international alliance marks “a new beginning towards the industrial independence of Venezuela”.
The reactivation project includes the incorporation of state-of-the-art technology to ensure that the tires produced meet the highest global standards of durability and quality.
