The city of La Asunción, in the state of Nueva Esparta, becomes the epicenter of public art with the arrival of the International Muralism Festival “Ciudad Mural”, as announced by the organizers of the event, who highlighted the cultural and tourist impact that this edition will have on the island region.

For six days, artists from different latitudes will intervene on the walls of the city with works that reflect Margarita's identity. The creations will be inspired by history, customs and the local environment, to generate a visual circuit that enhances urban heritage. The artistic tour will cover from the House of Governors to the Father's House and will integrate emblematic spaces into an open-air art proposal.

National participants include Romanok, Luis José Ordaz, Miguel Guerra and Asdrúbal Figueroa, renowned for their careers in contemporary muralism. For their part, international artists Ivette Dorticos (Cuba), Anderson Moisés (Brazil) and Tarcisio Leopoldo (Colombia) will provide a diverse vision that will enrich the visual dialogue between cultures.

The initiative is part of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, aimed at strengthening the sense of belonging and promoting artistic talent in public spaces. The festival seeks to consolidate itself as a platform for creative exchange, where mural art becomes a tool for community expression and tourism revitalization.
