International observers celebrated the Venezuelan experience in the Fourth Popular Consultation 2025 and expressed their interest in sharing it in their countries

International observers affirmed that the electoral processes in Venezuela, within the framework of the Fourth Popular Consultation 2025, demonstrate the community democracy that is developing in the territories and that is expressed at the national level in a single day.

The representative of Argentina stressed that, although some countries claim that there is no democracy in Venezuela or that the country lives under a closed political regime, experience shows the opposite: “projects are born of the communities themselves and are not imposed by a specific government,” she said.

He stressed that the participation of young people is a unique characteristic of the Venezuelan system, since from the age of 15, citizens can exercise the right to vote in assemblies and in electoral processes, which constitutes a direct, protagonist and participatory democracy.

He pointed out that this practice, with more than two decades of history, represents an unprecedented event in the world and reinforces the possibility of transmitting ideas from an early age, consolidating the political will to deepen democracy.
