In compliance with current legal regulations, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) and the Traffic Directorate of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) imposed administrative sanctions on a public transport unit belonging to the Union of Antimano Drivers for violating road safety.
This action was carried out after a complaint received on social networks, where it was reported that the unit in question was speeding and carrying out improper maneuvers that compromise road safety.
According to the INTT press, the sanction imposed consists of the suspension of the driver's driving license for a period of 90 days, as well as the suspension of the transport unit for the same period.
“These actions are carried out in compliance with Article 169 of the Land Transportation Act, which establishes as causes for sanctions: driving vehicles exceeding the allowed speed limit; driving public land transport vehicles through unauthorized channels; and performing maneuvers prohibited by regulation or by the competent authority,” explains the press release.
