The president of the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), Luis Granko, announced that work will begin to demarcate pedestrian crossings on Baralt and Urdaneta avenues in Greater Caracas, as well as some main roads in other states in the interior of the country.

“This is the concrete expression of our commitment to road safety and respect for bystanders,” said Granko, while confirming that the INTT is getting closer to the people, according to the institution's press.

During the INTT radio connection program, Granko urged all Venezuelans to make proper use of the 4 essential elements for pedestrians, namely: pedestrian stripes, walkways, underground tunnels and pedestrian traffic lights.
