Iranian Ambassador: Regrettable the lack of intention of the UN to resolve the conflict in the Middle East

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela, Hojjatolah Soltani, assured that the international community is responsible for curbing “that machine of genocidal slaughter and terror” that is Israel because of the crimes it has committed in the Middle East.

He clarified that when he talks about the international community he is referring to the Security Council of the United Nations (UN), which until now has done nothing about it to resolve this conflict in the region.

“The lack of intention on the part of this main body is regrettable; there is no light to stop the war machine, nor the capacity, which leads to the individual actions of countries and the alliances made to stop these crimes against humanity,” said Soltani during the program Here and Now broadcast on I guana TV.

He condemned the fact that the United States, France and Great Britain are countries that are at the service of Israeli Zionism, while Palestine is a victim for defending its territory and its legitimate right.

“Zionism is a racist, expansionist thinking, where they declare themselves to be the superior race established in Israel that has the mission of dominating the world and started with Palestine,” he said.
