Iván Fernández will not continue to command Academia Pueblo Cabello

The Academia Puerto Cabello club announced the departure of Spanish coach Iván Fernández Álvarez.

Alvarez, who only managed the first match of the Apertura Tournament of the 2025 season of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League), was fired after the loss to Metropolitanos.

Fernández took over as Technical Director of the team in July 2024 after the departure of coach Noel Sanvicente.
