Jackson Blanco wins first gold for Venezuela in the Tunisian Parathletics Grand Prix

Venezuelan parathlete Jackson José Blanco won the first gold medal for Venezuela in the Tunis Parathletics Grand Prix.
Blanco won the gold one on the pulse of the F55 class bullet, where he recorded five valid attempts (9.72, 10.25, 10.02, 10.18 and 10.06) and only one failed attempt. The 10,25-meter thrust brought him to the top of the Tunisian joust.
He was escorted in second place by Aliaksandr Ysimafeyeu (neutral Paralympic athlete) with 7.96 m and in third place was the Mongol Dorjzodov Tserensodnom with 7.14 m.
For his part, Franklin Bracho won the bronze medal in the F11 bullet category, in which he achieved the best thrust 11.95m (11.29, 11.75, 10.63, 10.85 and 11.95), being surpassed by Muhammet Atici from Türkiye, with 16.94 and Amir Soltane, from Tunisia, who came in first and second place, respectively.
In the same way, the Venezuelan Carlos Camargo finished his participation in the International Grand Prix with a fifth place in the F41 class javelin with 32.08 meters as his best attempt.
The podium was won by the Cuban Ever Castro (38.54), the Chinese Chengcheng Fan (37.04) and the Ivorian Kah Michel Ye (35.25), first, second and third respectively.
There are three Venezuelans left to see action: Luis Felipe Rodríguez in the 400m T20; and the throwers Romy Rodríguez and Henry Véliz in the F44 class javelin.
