Jesús Bueno was called up to the Vinotinto rally for the double day that Venezuela will have in the qualifiers of the 2026 World Cup, in the month of September.

The Venezuelan midfielder, who plays for the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer (MLS), replaces the loss of Yangel Herrera, who will be absent due to a left adductor injury.

This is Bueno's second call for absolute Vinotinto, after the March friendlies against Italy and Guatemala. Against the Guatemalan team, the 25-year-old Venezuelan saw minutes in the match that ended 0-0.

After joining the American team in 2021, Bueno has played 66 games, scoring four goals and distributing four assists. This season, he has played 21 games, including 12 in the MLS, where he scored a couple of goals; five in the Leagues Cup and four in the Concacaf Champions Cup, according to sports media.
