Jorge Arreaza called for national unity in the face of threats from the United States

Given the increase in the U.S. military presence in the region, unity among the Peoples of America is urgent to face this threat, which reveals the intentions of imperialism to seize our natural resources, said the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance of Our America (ALBA-TCP).

In this regard, he denounced that the region is at the epicenter of geopolitical processes, due to its vast natural resources, such as oil and freshwater reserves, which he says are of great interest to hegemonic powers.

In statements made since the great mobilization in defense of our sovereignty and our peace, Arreaza highlighted the need to put aside ideological differences and unite to protect countries' resources and sovereignty.

He also stated that, despite attempts at intimidation and blackmail by the United States, the Venezuelan people remain firm. He stressed that Venezuela is a nation of peace that seeks to strengthen its own democratic and social model, without accepting external interference.

“Whoever gets into Venezuela could enter, but they couldn't get out,” he warned.
