Jorge Rodríguez from Aragua: This campaign will be remembered as a historic date

The head of the VEN25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted this Tuesday the mobilization of revolutionary forces ahead of the municipal elections on July 27.

From Maracay, Aragua state, during the closing of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) campaign in the municipality, Rodríguez said that this “is a campaign that will be remembered in the times to come as a historic date, as a historic campaign”.

“President (Nicolás) Maduro ordered us to carry out different campaigns, that would draw and in some way could establish what the future of these efforts would be like in the governor's office and in the mayor's office. No more desk officials, no more bureaucrats who do what they do is hinder and hinder,” he said.

He said that Rafael Morales will be elected mayor next Sunday, July 27. “We are going to a different way of taking steps (...) turning everything around as an average, ending bureaucracy, fighting corruption,” Rodríguez emphasized.
