Jorge Rodríguez: In the states affected by the rains, the campaign will be to accompany the people

The electoral campaign of the candidates of the Revolution for municipalities that are affected by heavy rainfall and climate change must be, exclusively, to accompany the People, instructed the head of the VEN 25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez.

“To our candidates for mayors and councilors in those areas of the country where the climate emergency and heavy rains have generated effects and situations of danger, the only campaign that will be acceptable is that they are with the people and helping the governors to work,” he emphasized while stressing that the main offer of the standard-bearers of the Revolution is to work for the People.

In this regard, he expressed his satisfaction that, in the states affected by the rains, on May 25, Chavista governors committed to the People were elected, who have been deployed to provide comprehensive care to affected families.

On the other hand, he criticized the opposition leaders who, after having called for sanctions and invasions against the country, are now “camouflaged” and with “a fake smile” as candidates trying to be elected on July 27.
