The National Electoral Council (CNE) received the nomination of 36,986 candidates for the different positions of popular election that will be elected on May 25, said Jorge Rodríguez, vice president of Communication and Electoral Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Rodríguez indicated that 54 organizations for political purposes presented their flag bearers to be elected to the National Assembly (AN), Legislative Councils and governors.
In this regard, the deputy to the AN also assured that this number of candidates is equivalent, on average, to 13 candidates running for each of the positions to be chosen.
In the same way, Rodríguez emphasized that the PSUV and allied parties are preparing to win a sweeping victory in the coming elections.
