Jorge Rodríguez on the return of compatriots: The extreme right maintains a false narrative

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that the extreme right maintains a false narrative in the face of the return to the country of a compatriot this Monday night.

“It was not a demand of the Trump administration to transfer Venezuelans to the country, although that is what the sowers of lies and lies who weren't there say (...). It was not a demand of the United States administration, quite the contrary, President Nicolás Maduro did demand to send his planes to search for his people anywhere in the world,” he said.

He pointed out that this is a malicious and lying narrative. “We are going to continue with the plan for Venezuela to repatriate every Venezuelan woman and every Venezuelan who wants to do so. We are going to provide all the facilities.”
