Jorge Rodríguez: The campaign will focus on a plan for each municipality

The head of the VEN 25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, that the campaign leading up to the elections of July 27 will work out a plan for each municipality, which will be based on the plan of the 7 Transformations promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and the plan of each state of the Communal Power.

“Each candidate with the guidance of President Maduro's Plan of the Seven Transformations, with the guidance of the plans of the 24 states that have already been drawn up (...) then we are going to work on a plan for each municipality, a plan for each city, the Caracas plan, the Baruta plan, the Chacao plan, the Carúpano plan, the Porlamar plan (...) a plan for each city, with concrete elements, but based on two major bases,” he said at a press conference.

In this regard, he said that Mayor Carmen Meléndez has demonstrated how these plans are implemented in favor of the People. “The mayor is the best example of how it is executed in reality, not speaking straw or throwing slogans or making speeches, in reality,” she said.

He emphasized that “today Caracas is, today , one of the cities in Latin America with the most squares and areas of public space; and that is the revolutionary and socialist public space par excellence because the sun doesn't charge you to be and to be, the sky doesn't charge you, trees don't charge you and municipal management allows people to count.”

“Caracas is a walkable city and barely 20 years ago it was a city absolutely for cars, it's as if the efficient transformation of the territory can bring greater happiness to people,” he said.
