This Friday, July 11, the head of the VEN25+ Campaign Command
, Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed that talks are being held
every day with the Government of the United States (USA) to return the
31 boys and girls kidnapped by the authorities of his country.
“We talk to gringos every day about
the world, every day we pass them the list of 31 years old, these 31 children
remain kidnapped in the United States, return them to us (...) we have done, are
doing and will do absolutely everything necessary to get our kidnapped girls and boys
back to us,” Rodríguez said during a press conference.
He also described as inconceivable this
action by the United States in which boys and girls are separated from
their parents in a methodical and planned manner, as occurred in “
Nazi Germany with concentration camps where 6 million Jews were murdered”.
“It is absolutely inconceivable in the 21st century that a country, which considers itself the country of liberties and calls itself the country of liberties, (...) at this time because of the terrible crime according to them of being Venezuelan or of being Venezuelan, their children are being taken away and put in a detention center and mothers leave them there for months and months, until we manage to rescue them with the Plan Back to the Fatherland; and many mothers don't even know what conditions they are in”, he pointed out, referring to the case of the girl Loreannys, who was separated from her mother when she was five months old and is already one year old today.
At the same time, he took the opportunity to condemn organizations such as the United Nations that are silent in the face of these atrocities committed by the United States. “We have told them enough of being crazy about the case of Venezuela, enough of not assuming what their job and their role are, which is to accompany us with all the possible force of multilateralism on the planet to stop this crime against humanity,” he said.
“We have told a supposed High Commissioner
for Human Rights, that what is a dragged down, kneeling to the gringos, this Volker, who hasn't even had to do
the job of sending
a letter to someone, they don't say anything because it's Venezuela and it's about the United States
of America,” he said.
