José Montecano certified as a heritage bearer of Venezuelan culture

The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported that his wallet presented the certificate that accredits the Falconian singer, José Montecano, as a heritage bearer of Venezuelan culture.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the certificate was delivered during an event at La Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa, regarding the 83 years of Ali Primera, his brother of blood, dreams, struggles and melodies.

Villegas also highlighted the participation of folk dancers, as well as friends and the public from Caracas, who enjoyed the concert offered by Esmil Padilla Rossell, better known as José Montecano.

The Falconian was born in the city of Punto Fijo, in 1955, and is known as José Montecano, in honor of the hill that is located in San José de Cocodite, Falcón municipality. The Guánamo Caves are located there, a much more visited natural reservoir, and more accessible at other times .
