Karateca Katherine Loyo to be prepared in Italy

In order to promote evolution and competitive focus, the current Central American and Caribbean karate champion, Katherine Loyo, will attend a preparation base, which will take place in Naples, Italy.

The Venezuelan athlete in the youth category (-48kg) in the specialty of kumite, will participate in specialized training that will last 21 days, where she can compete with the Italian national team, as well as with the athletes of the Urban Kárate Team, led by the sensei and number one in the world in the discipline, Yorgelis Salazar.

The preparation base will also help the athlete to be in her best physical shape for the Karate 1-Youth League, to be held in Porec, Croatia from June 26 to 29, the Ministry of People's Power for Sports reported in a press release.
