La Guaira stood out as a tourist destination during Holy Week

During the Easter holidays, La Guaira established itself as one of the favorite places for tourists in Venezuela, reaching 98% occupancy on its beaches, as reported by Johan Martínez, president of the entity's Chamber of Tourism.

In this regard, Martínez highlighted the influx of visitors boosted local sales in the coastal entity in this holiday, while explaining that service providers maintained the rates of January last year and that seafood, together with promotions, were among the most popular choices among seasonal workers.

On the other hand, the authorities reported that the security device implemented during the Major Week had no problems and will remain operational until noon on Monday to ensure the safe return of tourists, according to a press release.
