Lara will receive 3,713 athletes for the XIX National School Sports Games 2025

On the occasion of the XIX National School Sports Games Lara 2025, to be held from August 01 to 17, the Government of Lara is preparing to receive 3,713 athletes who will compete in eight sports disciplines and modalities.

The information was provided by the Government on its website, in which it states that the Organizing Committee of the event, headed by the governor of the entity, Luis Reyes Reyes, held a working meeting to evaluate and receive a detailed report on the progress of the preparations for this significant school sports festival.

During the evaluation day, the various working committees presented a summary of the planned activities, highlighting the essential contributions to ensure the success of the student sports event.

In addition, an exhaustive review was made of the three key moments that will mark the development of the event that will begin with the swearing in of the Lara sports delegation, the arrival of the National Fire is scheduled for July 31, 2025 and the national opening ceremony for August 1.

He reported that the official opening ceremony will take place at the Bolivarian Dome of Barquisimeto, marking the formal start of the competitions.

At the end of the committee presentations, Reyes Reyes expressed his congratulations to the work team, “this event is of sporting significance, our state Lara will be a fundamental protagonist of the Venezuelan national sports festival”.
