The Antonio José de Sucre International School of Youth Leadership, in Miranda state, was the scene this Monday of the introductory master class for the cohort of the diploma Defense of Sovereignty and Revolutionary Tactical Method, given by the rector of the institution, Héctor Rodríguez.

With the participation of more than 300 young people from all over the country, Rodríguez emphasized that peace in a country like Venezuela can only be achieved with civic-military union.

He said, as explained in a press release, that everything called “Bolivarian” is not just a name, “being Bolivarian is that they are committed to the country's sovereignty.”

Rodríguez also explained that young people must be at the forefront of the battle to conquer spaces of values such as honesty, respect, family, and that these principles are always present in State security agencies.

In the same way, he stressed the importance of being aware of the threats facing our country in order to have a security policy that includes sovereign technological development and the relationship of society with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the police forces.

“For us to take care of our house, we have to have a security policy capable of taking care of the house in the face of the risk it poses and our risk is very high because we were born in a country that has the main oil reserves. If this is not discussed in the political leadership, not everyone is going to play their part in this direction,” said Héctor Rodríguez.
