Maduro Guerra: We are preparing to defend peace and progress in Venezuela

From the parish of Lídice, the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Nicolás Maduro Guerra, emphasized the patriotic commitment of the Venezuelan people in the face of five weeks of external aggression by the US government.

“The Venezuelan army has never attacked or threatened anyone, but when the most armed empire in history threatens you, you can't be kidding. We are preparing for comprehensive defense,” he said.

Maduro Guerra emphasized that active revolutionary resistance aims to preserve peace and prevent any regression.

“The victory of imperialism would mean the withdrawal of Venezuela, and we are not going to allow it. Our victory is to move forward,” he said.

He highlighted the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez: the civic-military-police union as a pillar of national sovereignty.

“Thanks to Bolivarian doctrine, today all the people are on the street, in arms, defending their country,” he concluded.
