Magaly Gutiérrez: The Bolivarian Government guarantees treatment for hemophilic patients

The Bolivarian Government guarantees, for the next two years, 100% of treatment for patients with hemophilia, said the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutierrez.

During her speech on President Nicolás Maduro's weekly program, the head of the Health portfolio explained that drugs for the care of these patients are brought to the country through triangulations.

In addition, according to a note released by the Presidential Press, Gutiérrez highlighted that the production of drugs for hemophilia, such as factor 8, recombinant factor 8, albumin, immunoglobulin, will be carried out through Quimbiotec Venezuela, since “they are drugs necessary for the sovereignty and independence of any country in the world.”

In the same vein, the Head of State assured that the goal in the next 2 years is to have the technical-scientific capacity to produce drugs in the country, so he urged to coordinate with the Venezuelan Hemophilia Association so that they are the controllers that the commitments that must be made to guarantee these drugs are fulfilled.
