Mayor of Caracas highlighted the spirituality of the People during Holy Week

This Monday, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted the importance of the successful Operation Safe Holy Week 2025, during a meeting with the media in which she was accompanied by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez and the Sectorial Vice President of Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“About 50,000 parishioners participated in the Basilica of Saint Teresa. In Caracas, for the fourth consecutive year, the central mass was held in Diego Ibarra Square, followed by the procession of the Nazarene of São Paulo,” said Meléndez.

The mayor also added that the parrot festival was held with recreation for children and youth, in the Paseo de los Próceres, Hugo Chávez Park and Ezequiel Zamora Park located in Caracas.

Meléndez , in this regard, highlighted the strong spirituality of the Venezuelan people during the tour of the seven temples last Good Friday.

“It is very important to highlight that Holy Week was the best in recent years, and we also had the participation of more than 9,000 citizen protection officials. Congratulations to those who protected our people,” he concluded.
