Mayor's Office of Caracas reinaugurated Doctor Francisco Mendoza Educational Unit in Altagracia La

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reinaugurated the “Doctor Francisco Mendoza” Educational Center, located in the Altagracia parish, after a comprehensive renovation that guarantees optimal conditions for the academic development of 270 students.

“Very happy to reopen this educational institution, which today opens its doors with fully restored spaces for the well-being of our children and young people,” said Meléndez.

He specified that the works included the complete renovation of the infrastructure, which includes seven classrooms, a classroom, a ballroom, a computer room, a library, a sports court, an administrative office, a kitchen and a dining room. All spaces were renovated with high quality materials.

He pointed out that the Dr. Francisco Mendoza Educational Unit works double shifts and has 22 teachers, in addition to administrative staff.

“This school was in perfect condition, as we really wanted. We continue to work for decent education and safe spaces for our students,” said the mayor.
