The men's national artistic gymnastics team qualified for the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
These are the Venezuelan athletes Adickson Trejo, Diego Delmoral, Víctor Betancourt and Yefferson Anton, who participated in the Pan-American Championship of the specialty held in Panama from July 12 to 15 and achieved tenth position. The group was led by Florangel Méndez together with Antonio Delmoral, who guided them in their routines of strength, flexibility and precision, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports reported in a press release.
In the fixed bar device, Betancourt with 12,150 points ranked among the 16 best in this Pan-American, just as in parallel bars with 12,550 it was placed in square 22.
For his part, Trejo ranked sixteenth in the All Round of the contest with a score of 72,100, while Delmoral finished 28th with 66,200 points.
In the women's category, Alondra Romero achieved a score of 11,300 and the 25th position in the floor category, while in the All Round she reached 24 with 44,333
The Valencian Milca León finished 20th with 11,633 points in the asymmetric bar test, but later on the floor she suffered an injury that left her with no chance of a podium.
