The Social Secretariat and the Hugo Chávez Missions and Great Missions System in Mérida held a social day, within the framework of the Love in Action Plan for Victims of the Economic Blockade.

The activity took place in the municipality of Arzobispo Chacón, where the “Battle and Attack” mission base was inaugurated and more than 240 families were directly served in the Mucuchachí Outpatient Clinic, who received nutritional assessment, delivery of supplies, medications, medical consultations, deworming, vaccinations, recreational activities, barbering and the verification and validation of vulnerable cases through house-to-house visits.

In addition, social assistance was provided through the Second Popular Consultation of Community Circuits of the Battle and Attack Community Council.

The day included the sale of proteins and food through Mercal and the Food Staff, with the support of Esasa, thanks to the agreements and implementation of the policies of Governor Jehyson Guzmán.
