Miami Marlins promotes Nelson Prada to manager of its AA branch

The Miami Marlins announced the promotion of Venezuelan coach Nelson Prada, to manager of their AA branch, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
Prada
has had an outstanding career in baseball, starting as a
manager in the 2005 Gulf Coast League affiliate of the Minnesota Twins
.
Since
then, he has managed several branches of organizations such as
the Philadelphia Phillies
,
Twins and currently the Miami Marlins, Meridiano
reports.
With a total of 700 minor league victories, Prada is among the most successful Venezuelan coaches in the Major League Baseball development system.
In the 2024 season, Prada guided the Jupiter Hammerheads to their first title in the Florida State League .
