Minister Cabello: As President Maduro instructed, we are under maximum vigilance to guarantee peace

“We are still here, right now we are at the height of Santa Monica, going around Las Mercedes, Petare Chacao, Chacaito, all in peace and quiet, patrolling without any problem, as our brother President Nicolás Maduro has instructed us to do the utmost vigilance, control and review to guarantee the peace and security of everyone everywhere in Venezuela.”

This was stated by the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during a tour carried out early this Thursday morning, where he confirmed the patrolling tasks and checkpoints of the security forces in various areas of Caracas and Miranda.

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also emphasized that the existing peace in the country is a consequence of the perseverance of the Bolivarian Government, which, together with the People, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the different citizen security and intelligence bodies, have succeeded in defeating the conspiracies and destabilizing actions promoted by opposition extremism.

“As the president has said, the opposition sectors do not rest and we should not rest either, and at the end of this fight I am sure that peace will prevail in Venezuela, it has not been easy all these years and today, with the consolidation of the Popular-Military-Police Fusion, we are achieving it,” he emphasized.
