Minister Cabello on explosive material in Maturín warehouses: Managers are directly linked to María Machado

This Saturday, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, specified that those responsible for the explosive material found in two warehouses in the city of Maturín, in the state of Monagas, have direct links with the leader of opposition extremism María Corina Machado.

After warning Venezuelans about the danger of these materials, he pointed out that all these actions that seek to sow terror in the country have been planned by North American imperialism.

“We want to alert the people of Venezuela because of how dangerous, how harmful this material can be for the people of Venezuela. We know that those responsible for these are directly linked to Mrs. María Machado, none of this happens spontaneously, all of this is planned by US imperialism to harm Venezuela.”

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also specified that eight people have been arrested as a result of this operation, while the search is ongoing against 12 others who are suspected of being involved in this act.

“The coincidence of sectors closely linked to the violent extreme right represented by Mrs. María Machado returns again,” he reiterated while thanking the social, police and military intelligence for their work to put an end to these terrorist plans.

“We have committed ourselves, and President (Nicolás) Maduro has given us the order to continue investigating, to continue reviewing and after intelligence work that here does work perfectly, the Popular-Military-Police Fusion has found these warehouses,” he said.
