This Thursday, August 14 , the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that, as part of the investigations being carried out to dismantle the terrorist plans of sectors of the extreme right, a wide variety of explosives were seized in the state of Anzoátegui.

“We are here in some warehouses, after a research work that comes from the state of Monagas (...) brought us here to the state of Anzoátegui to search and seize this warehouse where they have an impressive amount (of explosive) of different types,” he said.

He questioned whether the counterrevolution talks about them being explosives for oil use. “It's the same story about bombs that only kill Chavista; under that argument, according to them, this doesn't explode except for oil issues, trying to deceive, to manipulate, believing that the population doesn't know what an explosive is and the harm it can cause to human beings,” he said.

He pointed out that oil companies, according to the regulations, cannot have more than 50 kilograms of explosives and more than 100 electric detonators. “Then you wonder how they have more than 1,500 kilos of explosives here,” he lashed.

He noted that for this reason a thorough investigation has been ordered into the explosion that occurred at the Muscar Complex.
