The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Friday alerted young people in the country about mafias that promote drug use.
During his participation in the Congress “Drug Use and Juvenile Delinquency: Justice with a Human Face”, which was held in the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Cabello revealed one of the modus operandi of these criminal groups.
“A pretty girl is given an attractive guy who asks her out and brings her into this world. He calls a young man a girl. This is so, because they are mafias. They have to secure the market. How do they secure it? Promoting consumption at the youth level,” he said.
In this regard, the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace pointed out that if “a youth is formed that begins to use drugs, when those young people reach adulthood, the first thing they are going to teach those at the bottom is that they must consume too. That's why you have to stop it automatically,” he emphasized.
