Minister Cabello: We have peace quadrants within the territorial scope of the communal circuits

On the night of this Monday, August 11, the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported that there is currently a peace quadrant within the territorial scope of 2,703 Community Circuits and work is being done on its reactivation.

“For their reactivation, we are providing them with patrols, motorcycles, communication equipment and we are updating the entire camera system. We have coordinated with public and private companies to make them fully operational,” he said.

He took the opportunity to detail that at Petare “we launched a pilot plan. There, we adapted the Peace Quadrants to all communal circuits hand in hand with the People's Power, the Communal Councils, the Communes, and today Petare has to feel satisfied that, since we started there, there has been only one murder.”

The also Sectorial Vice President of Policy, Public Security and Peace highlighted the importance of using camera systems at all corners for the safety of citizens. “That works for everyone: for Chavistas, for those who are not Chavistas and for those who are not interested in politics. It's a territory of peace!”

For his part, President Nicolás Maduro said that in the coming days, 22,000 high-cylinder and latest-generation motorcycles will be delivered to the Peace Quadrants.
