Minister Cabello: We have seized 70% of the drugs they are trying to pass through Venezuela

This Monday, August 11, the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that drug trafficking is trying to mobilize 1,670 tons of cocaine through Venezuelan territory, “we can add the 450 tons of marijuana, 5% is about 100 tons.”

“This year this year we have had almost 52 tons of drugs confiscated,” he said in the 88th broadcast of the program Con Maduro+, hosted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“And the burning ranch, an extraordinary job, they gave a fact that a drug that came from La Guajira in Colombia was captured and now we are deployed in an area looking for a shipment of drugs, we are not going to say where,” he said.

Cabello said that “we can say, being conservatives, that we have seized 70% of the drugs they try to pass through Venezuela. If they try to pass through Venezuelan territory, our authorities are there, our police forces are there to seize them.”
