The sectoral vice-president for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, reported that the Bolivarian Government throughout the country has recovered and modernized 1,500 health centers and has also provided training to more than 48,000 comprehensive community doctors.

During his participation in the National Congress of Specialty Health 2025, held at the Military Circle of Caracas, Jiménez pointed out that the data provided are the product of the government management of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

He assured that the reclaimed spaces have state-of-the-art technology and that each staff graduated from the National University of Health Sciences strengthens the country's medical sovereignty.

Venezuela is making progress in consolidating a robust, free health system at the service of the people,” he said in a message on his Telegram account.

Regarding the congress, he said that this event reaffirms that innovation in the healthcare sector is not limited to laboratories, but that it flourishes in the work of doctors, nurses, technicians, students and researchers, who develop new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases, always with the People as a priority.

“We will continue to strengthen the National Public Health System with a social justice approach,” he said.
