Minister Lotartaro: Youth went out to campaign for the 27J consultation across the country

The Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, said that the young people of the country are ready from their communities and began the campaign to apply for their projects for the National Popular Consultation of Youth, to be held on July 27 in all the communes of the national territory.

Through a telephone contact for Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Lotartaro highlighted that after two major processes of this consultation: “the first, the more than 40,000 meetings in the communal councils where the youth dreamed and explained what they want in the medium, short and long term in their community, neighborhood, streets, residence and then the 7 projects were elected in meetings by communes and community circuit”.

He highlighted that more than 5,338 consultations were held in which the seven prioritized projects that will be in dispute on July 27 were chosen and “now comes a campaign process where all of us young people defend the idea of what the proposals are going to be and convince their community” through house to house, flyer, word of mouth, day of murals; we have all the active methods for the Venezuelan family to join the process of the National Popular Consultation”.

Lotartaro asserted that more than 15,000 electoral centers are available for youth “in which the entire Venezuelan population can vote” and stressed that it will take place on a permanent basis, this being “a milestone because it is the first to be carried out in the country.”
