In order to ensure the proper functioning of the National Electric System (SEN), the Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), Jorge Márquez, inspected the operation, as well as maintenance maneuvers carried out at the hydroelectric power plants in the state of Bolívar.

During his visit to the southeastern region of Venezuela, he oversaw the Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant, specifically the Guri distribution yard, and the Francisco de Miranda Hydroelectric Power Plant, also known as Caruachi.

In the company of workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), the vice-president of Public Works and Services toured the Antonio José de Sucre Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in the Macagua dam, as well as the Guayana A and B electrical substations.

These tours allowed the head of Electric Power to share anecdotes and meet the needs expressed by the working class in order to strengthen the processes of generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, in addition to complying with President Nicolás Maduro's instruction to guarantee optimal conditions in the National Electricity System (SEN).
