Minister Padrino: Let us persevere in national sovereignty and the educational growth of the People

This Friday, September 13, the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted the importance of the values sown in the country by Commander Hugo Chávez, for the perseverance of national sovereignty and the educational growth of the People.

“That's why Commander Chávez brought us back to Bolivar and brought us that current, so that today it would become Bolivarianism, which is there beating and present more and more every day versus the pretensions of the new colonialism,” he said.

The statement was made at the José Ávalos High School, in El Valle, where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, supervised the facilities, as part of the advances of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), for the start of classes 2024-2025.

He argued that “we have torn the veil, we have seen slavery and darkness, and they want to return to it again”.

In that regard, he emphasized that from Venezuela, men and women, military and civilian, “we have to stand permanently, raise our voices and see ourselves as the international community sees us at this time: a coherent and cohesive social body in its thinking.”

“A people ready to defend what belongs to us, such as our national sovereignty, independence, reject single thinking and defend the characteristics of our participatory and leading democracy,” he stressed.
